Buying kids backpacks for your little one can be difficult for several reasons. It takes patience to make them understand that what they want is not always the best for them. Although their opinion is important, it is sometimes not logical or reliable. Sometimes they do not think the sensibility of their choice.
This behavior, however, should not be blame on them because of their young age and their reasoning is limited only on what they feel and to their few experiences.
Below are the three ways a mom could practically apply on buying school backpack packs- a backpack which both mom and child could be happy and satisfied with the choices they have made.
1. Always Buy Plain Colors - Whatever the color of a school bags are, you can always put stickers on it, add badges and dangle key rings. This is a great way for them to personalize their bag, it also makes it easy to find when around with other kids. Also it is a great way put all the key rings and badges to use.
2. Get the Size Right - Buying a child's school bag that is too big can be disastrous, they put too much in them and then complain that the bag is too heavy so you end up carrying it. Equally torturous is getting one which is too small.
3. How Much Do You Spend - you don't want to spend so little that the bag falls apart, but you don't want to spend too much as it is possible that it will be lost! Also it is worth remembering that a backpack which is used for school will get quite a battering and will hence have to be replacing each year.
One more thing, it may be best if your child be drop to her Grandma's house before doing the shopping. If you take your kid to the shop there is a chance that they will see something you don't think is suitable and the whole thing will turn into a nightmare.
